Thinning
Thinning to remove weak or stunted trees which will then help to promote growth and add value to the remaining woodland.
Clear fell
This operation involves all trees being cleared, generally because of diseases or when they have reached the final stage of growth after being thinned two or three times. New trees can then be planted.
Storm damage
The clearance of wind/storm damaged trees. Trees can often become tangled which make them very dangerous. We have the correct machinery and experience to deal with this.
Reinstatement
Reinstatement involves making good any damage caused when timber is harvested. We can also create new loading bays.
Track Clearance or Creation
Track clearance involves opening up new tracks within the woodland, especially woodland that hasn’t previously been harvested. We have the relevant machines to be able to remove the timber and create a new track to allow access for further work.
